Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation's guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023

Age Criteria: To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 24 years old as of October 31, 2023, if they belong to the General/EWS category.

Age Relaxation: The relaxation in the upper age limit for various reserved categories is as follows:

- SC/ST: 5 years

- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 10 years

- PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years

- PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years

Educational Qualifications:

- Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator: Candidates should possess a 3-year B.Sc degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.

- Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th grade) and hold a minimum 2-year ITI certificate in the Fitter Trade with a passing grade.

- Trade Apprentice Boiler (Mechanical): Candidates should have a 3-year B.Sc degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.

- Technician Apprentice (Chemical): Candidates need a 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering.

- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Candidates should have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Candidates are required to have a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

- Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Candidates should possess a 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

- Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant): Candidates must have a 3-year degree in B.A., B.Sc, or B.Com.

- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Candidates should hold a 3-year B.Com degree.

- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): Candidates should have completed Class XII (12th grade).

- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator) (Skill Certificate Holders): Candidates must have completed Class XII (12th grade) and possess a Skill Certificate in "Domestic Data Entry Operator.
