1. Research Scientist-II (Scientist ‘C')

Number of Vacancies: 01 Posts

   

Educational Qualifications: A first-class MBBS/BVSc degree from a Medical College or institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Veterinary Council of India (VCI) with a minimum of two years of research experience in fields such as Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Genetics, or related biomedical subjects.

OR,

   

A PhD degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related subject from a recognized University, along with three years of Research and Development experience.

OR,

   

An M.Sc. degree with a first-class grade in a relevant life science field (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology) or a closely related field from a recognized university, and four years of research experience in the field.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Medical statistics, Computer applications/Data management, data analysis, and interpretation of statistical results.
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (including Conventional PCR, Real-time PCR, DNA sequencing, and analytical biochemistry).
• Working knowledge of basic bioinformatics tools.
• Publications in indexed scientific journals.
• Prior experience in a similar role within a Government or autonomous organization.

Age Limit: 40 years as of the interview date, with relaxation as per Government instructions.

2. Research Scientist-I (Scientist ‘B’)

3. Lab Technician

Educational Qualifications: 12th pass with Science as a subject, along with a 2-year DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) from a Government recognized institute and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a recognized organization.

OR,

   

12th pass in the science stream and a 3-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with 2 years of work experience in a clinical or research laboratory.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous experience in clinical Microbiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology laboratory work from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.

   

Age Limit: Less than 30 years as of the last date of application, with relaxation as per Government of India (GOI) instructions.

4. DEO/ Lab Assistant (Grade ‘A’)

Number of Vacancies: 01

Educational Qualifications: 12th pass from a recognized board with 1 year of experience in EDP (Electronic Data Processing) work in a Government, Autonomous, PSU, or any other recognized organization.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Typing speed of 15000 key depressions per hour in computer.
• One year of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare institution.

Age Limit: 25 years on the interview date, with relaxation as per Government of India (GOI) instructions.
